Faithless feat Cass Fox - Music Matters (The Remixes)

Four great new remixes of Music Matters have just been released:

Lyrics:

(Cass Fox)
For all those who stood up and were counted
For all those for whom money was no motive
For all those for whom music was a message
I want to thank you

For making me
A little more sure
A little more wise
And courageous

You told me to look much further
You told me to walk much more
You told me that music matters
And to chase the dogs back from my door

I won't stop here
I won't be still until the sun sets
On us all..

(Maxi Jazz)
Under the sheets with my radio
Turn down low
So nobody know
It's the late night show
Hopin' to hear 'Hey Joe'
Jimi was my hero
Head blown by Todd R. A wizard a true star
From BAMMALAMMA to TAMLA MO
Curtis Mayfield
to Kurtis Blow
Singing into my pillow
And praying I don't dose
Until my 9 Volt battery goes..

(Cass Fox)
You told me to look much further
You told me to walk much more
You told me that music matters
And to chase the dogs back from my door

I won't stop here
I won't be still until the sun sets
On us all..

You told me to look much further
You told me to walk much more
You told me that music matters
And to chase the dogs back from my door

I won't stop here
I won't be still until the sun sets
On us all..

You told me that music matters..
You told me that music matters..
You told me that music matters..
You told me that music matters..

I found them on YouTube. Here they are:

Faithless feat Cass Fox - Music Matters (Mark Knight Remix)

Faithless feat Cass Fox - Music Matters (Axwell Remix)

Faithless feat Cass Fox - Music Matters (Pete Heller Remix)

Faithless feat Cass Fox - Music Matters (Rollo & Sister Bliss Remix)

Personally I prefered the remix by Axwell. How about you? :)

Faithless - To All New Arrivals - Full Album Lyrics

Updated 15/02/2007. Thank you all for your posts!! :)

Well here is an attempt to gather all the "To All New Arrivals" album lyrics in just one place! Any help (corrections, adds etc) is very welcome! :)

01. Bombs
We think we're heroes, we think we're kings
We plan all kinds of fabulous things
Oh look how great we have become

Key in the door, the moment I've been longing for
Before my bag hit the floor
My adorable children rush up screaming for a kiss
And a story they're a gift to this world
My only claim to glory
I surely never knew sweeter days
Blows my mind like munitions
I'm amazed

So much heaven, so much hell
So much love, so much pain
So much more than I thought this world could ever contain
So much war, so much soul
One mans loss, another mans gold
So much more than I thought this world can ever hold

We're just children, we're just dust
We are small and we are lost
And we're nothing, nothing at all

One bomb, the whole block gone
Can't find me children and dust covers the sun
Everywhere is noise, panic and confusion
But to some another fun day in Babylon
I'm gonna bury my wife and dig up my gun
My life is done so now I got to kill someone

So much heaven, so much hell
So much love, so much pain
So much more than I thought this world could ever contain
So much war, so much soul
Moments lost, moments go
So much more than I thought this world could ever hold

So much more than I thought this world could ever hold
So much more than I thought this world could ever hold

So much heaven, so much hell
So much love, so much pain
So much more than I thought this world could ever contain
So much war, so much soul
Moments lost, moments go
So much more than I thought this world could ever hold

02. Spiders, Crocodiles and Kryptonite (It was quite hard for me to write down this song's lyrics!)

-------------------------

03. Music Matters

-------------------------

04. Nates Tune (Instrumental Track)
I look down on this beautiful planet and think that at last I have found paradise.

-------------------------

05. I Hope
I hope you understand what fear is before you have to feel it..... (Help needed!)

-------------------------

06. Last This Day
Lines to the skin
that has seen
neither sun nor sin

Tubes to the mouth
cannot laugh or sigh
or even cry

A drop in the ocean
a second and all time
one stop in the endless sky

But you mean
the whole world to me
you're an island of light
so please last this day
stay one more day
please last this day
stay one more day

Stay one more
stay one more
stay one more day

Just one more
just one more
just one more day

-------------------------

07. To All New Arrivals --- (wrote them down by myself)
In our world
maleria kills a child every 30 seconds
11.000.000 children die every year of malnutrition

(To All New Arrivals... Welcome)

In our world
15.000.000 children have been orphaned by AIDS
30.000.000 children die of preventable causes every day

(To All New Arrivals... Welcome)

In our world
2.000.000 children are working at the sex-industry

1.1 billion people in the world have less than 1 dollar

To All New Arrivals
We love you
We would die for you
Kill for you

To All New Arrivals
We love you
We would die for you
Kill for you

Welcome, welcome, welcome

If there's a god,
Be aware
I'm a man newly made
My son lies here
And only of him
Am I afraid
And I gaze into that face
I can see that which is true
I created him
And we created you
In his image
And I never knew love like this...

To All New Arrivals
We love you
We would die for you
Kill for you

To All New Arrivals
We love you
We would die for you
Kill for you

To All New Arrivals
We love you
We would die for you
Kill for you

You're welcome, welcome, welcome.....

08. Hope And Glory
When I arrive
Eyes wide
Fired up
Try not to slide a letter side down
Now the plane's on the ground
I'll find a good refreshment
It's 1957
I've come to the mother land
And make a home to put my bed in
This way that does (???) my head in
Some people are less than kind
I wish
My mom was here so I could arm wide
But I'm supposed to be the good news
So I lace up this hard black shoes
And ???? more work
This street was never paid with gold
They simply made my fever
They just made my fever

Just a little money in my pocket
And a little bit left for those I love
To have enough fruit on my table
And a little bit more for those you call

In this land of hope and glory
You think there's enough for us all
You think there's enough for us all

When I arrive
Eyes wide
Petrified
Try not to cry
And let this side down
Now plane's on the ground
It's 20 years later
Mama's in the arrival lounge
I take a few seconds
And kiss her
Then I look around
And what's happened to my home town
What's going on
But pappa doesn't look too strong

???? in a cab
Window's hot --- (I'm going to continue that one later... have to go for now!)

Faithless - To All New Arrivals (2006)

The big comeback of Faithless is here! The album just got out last month (November 2006) and is very HOT! Their sound is more mature than ever! You can listen to the whole CD from the beginning 'till the end with great pleasure. I only wish it was summer and that I was sunbathing near the sea listening to it.

You will surely pay attention to the track "Last This Day" featuring Dido. I LOVE her voice.

Maxi Jazz will "travel" you throughout the CD with his well-known style.

I am really happy that they are back with this very good album. Here is the tracklist:

1. Bombs Feat. Harry Collier
2. Spiders, Crocodiles & Kryptonite Feat. Robert Smith
3. Music Matters Feat. Cass Fox
4. Nate’s Tune
5. I Hope
6. Last This Day Feat. Dido
7. To All New Arrivals Feat. Harry Collier
8. Hope & Glory Feat. One Eskimo
9. A Kind of Peace Feat. Cat Power
10. The Man In You
11. Emergency

More comments will follow. I have to go now... Time to work. Will edit later. :)

-----------------------

Part II:

Well I'm back and it's time for some more elaborate comments since I've just now listened to the CD with more attention:

#2:
While listening to the second track I really got stuck! I recognized from the very start that this song uses a sample from a very well known song, but I couldn't remember witch one was that! And then it hit me! It's a sample from The Cure's Lullaby and I must say that they used it in a very smart way!

#3:
Wow! I adored this one! Well, I am a big fan of dance tracks with good vocals especially by women singers. I searched around for the lyrics, but I guess it's too soon. But I enjoy very much listening to songs and trying to write down the lyrics. So, here they are, from me with love:

Faithless - Music Matters

Fot all those who stood up and counted
For all those for whom money was no motive
For all for whom music was a message
I want to thank you for making me
That emotion (?)
Never more wise and courageous

You told me to look much further
You told me to want much more
You told me the music matters
Let's chase those dogs back from my door

I won't stop here
I won't be still
Until the sun sets
On us all

Maxi Jazz:

Under the sheets with my radio
Turned down low
So nobody know
It's the late night show
Hoping to hear Hey Joe

Jimmy was my hero
Kate blown by the top hour (?)
to visit the true star (?)
From ????????
Curtis
Mayfield

[I give up... He speaks very fast!] :S

You told me to look much further
You told me to want much more
You told me the music matters
Let's chase those dogs back from my door

I won't stop here
I won't be still
Until the sun sets
On us all

Refrain to fade...
